Last day

Yep, today was the last day that I worked in this insectary. I'm a little sad to leave. One of my boss even took me for fish & chips and ale at lunch time (now when could you drink during working hours, eh?) I'll miss this place.

I'll miss this silly sign outside the insectary too. :P
But, time to move on. There will be another insectary. But for now, I'm off for a break!

How sad... :(

I hope you find a new insectorium soon. Breaks can be overrated. :)

Today we had a seminar on pincushion millipedes and I was thinking of you. Supposedly they don't get studied much because they can't be found... but there they were, hiding out in the chemical storage building when our insect guy found them.

Holy crickets, Mos! There are other people like you out there! :o

Erm... No offense or anything. Insects are cool. From a distance.

Hey thanks, Will. As much as I would like to stay and play around in a room with a temperature of 25 degree celsius and humidity of 68%, there isn't much opportunity for a real career :(.
Don't worry, there is another place I'm going to. Just not telling where yet :P.
Um, what does a pincushion millipede look like? Never seen one of those. (Cool seminar, me thinks. Is your university keeping that one for studies then?)
Yeah yeah, Ping. Good to know there are people who sees the beauty in entomology. Mind you, you are crazy about birds yourself :P.
